So this weekend I finished the first draft of my next Flora BeGora mystery. This one seemed to take forever because I was distracted by summer--a nice summer that hasn't been so hot and humid. I've done lots of reading, biking, kayaking, swimming, gardening and we've done a lot of painting around the house, i.e. decks, shed, changed the color scheme on the doors. So now I'll put this manuscript aside for a couple of months and when I come back to it all kinds of things will jump out at me that need to be tweaked. Sometimes I'm almost afraid to go back and read what I wrote because I wonder if it's any good. We'll see. Meanwhile, taking a break . . . .
I'm a writer. I'm also a weaver and a spinner and a knitter. And sometimes I draw pictures. And I like to go bike riding or paddle around in my kayak. I like all kinds of things . . .
